Sardarapat Movement member Jirayr Sefilyan, at a press conference today, also turned his attention to the video circulating on the net recently which shows what appears to be two young soldiers being humiliated and hit by an older officer.
“In a normal country, the appropriate [state] bodies announce a cash prize and ensure the safety of those citizens who reveal who has produced the video,” said Sefilyan.
He added that “in our abnormal country, the Ministry of Defense announces that it will punish even those who disseminate [the video].”
“Basically, if as a result of an investigation, it turns out that the video corresponds to reality, then it turns out that the Defense Ministry in its first statement urged people to conceal the truth; it means that it has prompted an obvious crime,” added Sefilyan.
