According to unofficial data, foreign entrepreneurs are preparing to invest in the frames of the Tatev Revival Project, as well as in the development of southern Armenia overall, said National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia CEO Pegor Papazian, while speaking to journalists Saturday during the opening of the world’s longest reversible passenger aerial tramway.
“This is the start of Tatev’s revival, which begins with the opening of the tramway,” he said.
Much construction work can raise environmental issues, he added; however, coming to Armenia soon will be a group of experts from the UK who will work with local specialists to compile Tatev’s “master plan,” to decide where investments projects can be carried out.
According to Papazian, the tramway will be operating during all four seasons of the year, adding that with great pleasure, he will come to Tatev in the winter as well.
