The international forum taking place in Yerevan tomorrow is not an exclusive forum: it is regularly held in different Eastern European countries, said political analyst with the Caucasus Institute Sergey Minasyan in speaking with Epress.am today.
Asked what the Council of Europe Forum for the Future of Democracy will do for Armenia, Minasyan said there will be domestic political aggravations and he didn’t consider the designation of the next Armenian National Congress event on the day of the forum to be coincidental.
“In such forums, at least the word democracy will be heard once, and the opposition will try the utmost to use this fact,” he said.
