German President Would Like to See Armenia-Turkey Border Open

While speaking to Turkish President Abdullah Gul during his official visit to Turkey, German President Christian Wulff spoke on the issue of Armenia-Turkey relations. 

Touching on process of normalizing Armenia-Turkey relations, Wulff said, “our support is with you” and encouraged an “open border” between the two countries in the common future, which he said would contribute to stability in the Caucasus.
