A young Armenian national, who is registered in Russia’s Krasnodar region, was arrested in Moscow last night. On Oct. 1, the 26-year-old man in question tricked and lured two Indonesian men, aged 24 and 26, into an apartment where he forcibly kept them for more than a month. By threatening the young men with a Taser (an electroshock weapon), he forced the men to perform sexual services for various customers, reports BaltInfo.
A criminal case has been launched against the Republic of Armenia citizen under charges of “imprisoning two or more individuals illegally with the use of weapons.” The foreign nationals have been released and in the near future, they plan to fly back home. The police continue to search for accomplices.
According to Sergei Marchenko, a spokesperson with Moscow’s Investigation Department, the two men from Indonesia are transsexual. They were invited to Russia, then had their passports taken away and were forcibly detained in the apartment.
