On Nov. 24, Armenian National Congress (HAK) coordinator Levon Zurabyan met with Kingdom of Norway Ambassador to Armenia (seat in Moscow) Knut Hauge and the Norwegian Embassy’s advisor Girid Selius, reports the HAK press service.
The political and socioeconomic situation in Armenia and ways to fight corruption were discussed during the meeting. Zurabyan raised the issue of releasing political prisoners, freedom of assembly, as well as the issue of Armenia’s obligations as they relate to (granting a broadcast license to) A1+ TV station.
Also discussed were prospects for normalizing Armenia-Turkey relations.
