Yovanovitch Denies Role in Initiating Armenian Authorities-Opposition Dialogue

During the two-day press forum in Tsaghkadzor this past weekend, a reporter with local daily Hraparak asked US Ambassador to Armenia Marie Yovanovitch whether it’s true that it is the “West,” in particular the US, which initiated the dialogue between Armenian authorities and the country’s opposition.

“‘No,’ responded the ambassador curtly, not wanting to continue the dialogue. She suggested the reporter direct her questions through the embassy’s press office,” reports Hraparak.
