Istanbul’s Holy Savior Hospital to be Returned to Armenian Foundation

The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) issued a ruling in which Turkey’s government will be obliged to return to their former owners real estate property confiscated for different reasons from ethnic minorities living in the country.

Based on this ruling, Holy Savior (Surp Prgich) Hospital in Istanbul should be returned to the Armenian Hospital Foundation.

Last year, ethnic minorities in Turkey appealed to ECHR for the return of 410 buildings, 96 of which were granted.
