Armenian National Held Captive in Azerbaijan for 35 Days Has Health Issues

Resident of the village of Verin Karmiraghbyur in Armenia's Tavush marz (province) Mamikon Khojoyan, 77, who returned from Azerbaijan yesterday, has health issues, Khojoyan's daughter, Heghine, informed local daily Chorrord Inqnishkhanutyun.

"His left side doesn't work, there are signs of [the use of] a gun on his shoulder. They shot [him], [the bullet] entered on one side and exited on the other. There are signs of being poked on his head — they probably injected something in his head. His whole body is bruised; he can't open his mouth to eat. He doesn't talk; he only says, 'I want to sleep'," said Khojoyan's daughter.
