According to data provided by the Narcological Clinic of the RA Ministry of Health Psychiatric Medical Center CJSC and the National Examination Bureau of the RA National Academy of Sciences, the existence of narcotics was found in 629 of the individuals who underwent examination in the first half of this year.
Traces of marijuana were found in 283 individuals; opium, 303; and synthetic drugs in 43.
During the same period in 2009, the existence of narcotics was found in 475 of those individuals who underwent examination at that time. Of those, 181 were found to have traces of marijuana; 275, opium; and 19, synthetic drugs, according the official website of the RA police.
