National Assembly deputy Vardan Khachatryan at a press conference today said that Russia’s intention to supply Azerbaijan and Armenia with ammunition is an economic plan in which one shouldn’t try to find political subtext.
On the matter of Russia supplying Azerbaijan with C-300 missile devices, Khachatryan advised not to rush to conclusions. He said that perhaps the news is simply talk, since the actual missile transfer hasn’t yet taken place and no reliable information on when such a transfer might take place exists.
He advised the media under no circumstances to be hostile toward Russia and not to view the news as encouraging aggression.
The member of parliament also turned his attention to the likelihood of the resumption of the Karabakh war, saying that a sudden takeover is not possible in Nagorno-Karabakh. He added that, in any case, unexpected attacks or bombings can result in great losses.
