Reports of Russia-Georgia Direct Flights Denied

Russia’s Air Transport Alliance denied reports on direct flights between Russia and Georgia recommencing on August 23, reports Kommersant. 

Russian press recently reported that Georgian Airways and the Russian airline Sibir (S7) will operate direct flights between Moscow and Tbilisi. According to Kommersant, the reference was not to direct flights but to charter flights, which Sibir and Georgia’s Air Zena will offer three times a week.
