Turkey manifests ongoing political will, wishing to improve relations between Armenia and Turkey, said Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu in a televised interview late on Tuesday, reports Anadolu Ajansi.
Davutoglu said that Turkey wants to break down all barriers; Turkey’s even prepared “to open the border with that country.”
“All psychological, political and geopolitical barriers must be destroyed. The Caucasus must have common economic ground. That means that Armenia must cease occupying 20% of Azerbaijan’s territory. If the changes are unilateral, they cannot survive for long,” said Davutoglu.
