Armenia Plans to Open 7 New Embassies in 2010

During its session today, the Armenian government decided to redistribute some of the items in its 2010 budget by modifying its 3 previous decisions and allocating 891,400,000 AMD to the RA Ministry of Transport and Communication for road repairs.

The government has allocated 96,600,000 AMD to RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who plans on opening 7 new embassies in 2010. The funding for these new embassies will come from the funds set aside for the maintenance costs provided for the redistribution of personnel, which will make up the majority of the new embassies’ financing.
