Members of the group against the destruction of Yerevan’s Student Park are ready to submit their claim to the RA Administrative Court, to dispute the actions of Yerevan City Hall connected with the construction work to be carried out in the park.
The group’s claim, defined by the RA Constitution, laws and international treaties, is based on the violation of citizens’ rights to live in a healthy environment, to rest, to be informed of planned changes to the living environment and to participate in urban development programs and projects for consideration and in approving decisions.
With the foresight that numerous questions will arise connected with the claim, the group is organizing two meetings to present the claim in detail and to respond to any questions. These meetings will take place at Common Ground (Tpagrichneri 9), today at 6 pm and tomorrow, August 28, at 1 pm.
