Armenian National Congress (HAK) coordinator Levon Zurabyan shared his thoughts on the recent reports about the possibility of a so-called third political force coming into being in Armenia, as well as Robert Kocharyan becoming active in politics.
“You know, it’s already been 2.5 years that they’ve been saying Robert Kocharyan will become active [in politics]: where is he? Let him become active,” said Zurabyan.
The HAK coordinator also said that the opposition group is not too worried about talks of a new political force, that is neither opposition nor pro-government.
“We’re focused on the fight against dictatorship. If a new force is going to be developed that will assist us in that struggle, we will welcome it, but if a new force is going to be created that is going to attempt to divert this struggle or the fight against dictatorship, then we will say everything about them, we will show that this is a new project by the authorities. Let me say one more thing: they are speaking of a third force, but until now there are third forces,” added Zurabyan.
