Georgia has suggested a joint tourism alliance be developed in the South Caucasus. Head of the Department of Tourism and Resorts in Georgia’s Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development Maia Sidamonidze made such a proposal while speaking with journalists yesterday.
In Sidamonidze’s words, such an alliance will provide additional guarantees to the increase in flow of tourists to the South Caucasus. Within the frames of the program, Georgia plans to create special packages for tourists.
Georgia is preparing to include Armenia, Azerbaijan and Turkey in the proposed alliance.
