Gerard Depardieu in Armenia to Participate in Festival

Famous French actor Gerard Depardieu has arrived in the Armenian capital of Yerevan last night to participate in Karot festival, report local media.

This is the first actor’s visit to Armenia. Depardieu will participate in the award ceremony of Karot festival as a guest of honor, reports RIA Novosti.

During the visit Depardieu is expected to meet with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and National Assembly Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan.

Gerard Depardieu has starred in Mon oncle d’Amerique (1980), La Chevre (1981), Cyrano de Bergerac (1990), Green Card (1990), The Man in the Iron Mask (1998) and Paris, je t’aime (2007).
