The leadership of Azerbaijan, in contrast to many skeptics, understands that Moscow cannot build relations with Azerbaijan to the detriment of its relations with Armenia and vice versa, said a member of the Russian Duma’s International Affairs Committee, Ruslan Kondratov, reports News.az.
“Relations with both Armenia and Azerbaijan are important to us, and Moscow will hardly insist on an option of the Karabakh settlement, which does not suit one of the parties. Armenia and Azerbaijan are unable to agree independently and it is unclear when they will be,” said the MP.
