RA Premier’s Cup in Handball Goes to… Belarus

On September 5, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan went to Vanadzor to watch the second international tournament of the Republic of Armenia Premier’s Cup. Also present during this year’s tournament was International Handball Federation President Dr. Hassan Moustafa.

Participating in the tournament this year were men’s teams from Armenia, Belarus, Iran and Georgia.

Winner of the Republic of Armenia Premier’s Cup this year was the team from Belarus. Second, third and fourth place went to Armenia, Iran and Georgia, respectively. 

During the Vanadzor visit, Tigran Sargsyan also paid a visit to Gloria sewing factory, saw the workshops, became familiar with production. Currently, there are 500 workers in the factory; however, this number is expected to grow to 800 by the end of this year, reports the Government of Armenia.
