“Armenia now wants to divert world attention from the main issue, which is progress in negotiations isn’t observed. And the reason for this we know very well,” said Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Araz Azimov.
According to him, the reason for this lies in the fact that the Armenian president has rejected the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs’ proposals to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, and Armenia “is attempting to slander Azerbaijan through speculation and falsehoods.”
Azimov expressed hope that future negotiations on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict will serve Azerbaijan’s interests, reports Interfax-Azerbaijan.
