Complications Due to Short Circuit in Yerevan’s Metro

Yerevan Metro’s Marshal Baghramyan station is up and running again, according to RA Ministry of Emergency Situations press secretary Nikolai Grigoryan.

The smoke in the station was due to a short circuit. According to Grigoryan, there was no fire in the station; nevertheless, 6 fire trucks were dispatched to the scene.

As previously reported, trains weren’t stopping at Baghramyan station this morning. As told to Epress.am by our correspondent on the scene, passengers had complained of a “burning smell” and smoke coming from the station.
