NATO Representation to Open in Georgia

A NATO permanent representation will open in Georgia in September. This issue will be discussed today by 3 Georgian parliamentary committees.

In Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Parliament of Georgia Akaki Minashvili’s opinion, NATO’s permanent representation in Georgia will promote the deepening of relations between Georgia and NATO.

“This is another step toward the process of Georgia integrating into NATO,” he said.

Prior to this, NATO’s representative was working out of Georgia’s Ministry of Defense building, reports Georgia Online.
