Number of Foreign Companies in Turkey Increasing

The number of foreign companies established in Turkey has exceeded 25,000, reports Anadolu Ajansi. 

According to data by the Turkish Treasury Undersecretariat, the number of foreign companies in the country doubled in the last five years. Most of these companies are German.

The number of foreign companies, which was 10,173 in 2005, reached 25,055 at the end of June 2010.

Foreign companies mainly show interest in wholesale and retail trade sectors in the country.
