On Sept. 30, the Armenian national team will depart for the Russian town of Khanty-Mansiysk for the 39th World Chess Olympiad. The following chess players have been chosen as part of the team: Levon Aronian, Vladimir Akopian, Gabriel Sargissian, Arman Pashikian, and Avetik Grigoryan (coach: Arshak Petrosyan).
The women’s team includes Elina Danielian, Lilit Mkrtchian, Lilit Galoyan, Nelly Aginian, and Anahit Kharatyan (coach: Ashot Anastasyan).
