The referendum on amendments to the constitution on Turkey essentially was directed against court authorities, and by pulling the rug from under their feet, military authorities also experienced a threat, said Turkologist Artak Shakaryan, while speaking to journalists today.
“It can be assumed that after this, the frequency of military coups in Turkey will decrease,” he concluded.
