Baghdasaryan Became Submissive, Tsarukyan has Dignity: Opinion

While meeting with journalists today, Union of Political Analysts President Hmayak Hovhannisyan and Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) MP Mkrtich Minasyan spoke on the incident which took place at the National Assembly recently. 

Recall that yesterday Vardan Bostanjyan had said that he’s severing his relations with Viktor Dallakyan, since, until that statement, the latter referred to “do-gooders who have acquired wealth through repulsive means.” Bostanjyan considered that statement to refer to the leader of his political party, Prosperous Armenia, Gagik Tsarukyan. 

In Hovhannisyan’s opinion, talking about the situation is not even worth it, since it’s obvious for everyone.

“Artur Baghdasaryan became submissive [to the ruling authorities], Gagik Tsarukyan didn’t, he’s keeping his masculinity. He says, after all, I’m the leader of a political party, let the people choose, perhaps they elect us, Prosperous Armenia comes out on top. But that first place isn’t insured, it isn’t reserved for a Republican. The man has dignity, he knows that the places are already doled out. And they’ve told him, we’ll deprive you of second place. In politics, it’s not said verbatim. They’ve begun to blow on Artur Baghdasaryan, they’re blowing, blowing: and one day he might burst, they’ll blow so much that he won’t be able to handle the tension,” he said. 

Minasyan resented Hovhannisyan’s remarks and said that Hovhannisyan is creating a situation whereby no one will want to debate with him.

Minasyan said that that’s simply an analysis by Hovhannisyan, who’s not aware of everything that took place the day before yesterday.

Furthermore, Minasyan said that that incident has no concern with the Republican Party of Armenia whatsoever.
