Name of New National Assembly Vice Chair to be Revealed in October

Armenia’s National Assembly Vice Chair, Prosperous Armenia member Arevik Petrosyan has formally resigned.

The party’s press spokesperson, Khachik Galstyan, confirmed the news without, however, mentioning the reasons behind the resignation.

The party will propose a new candidate for the post in October.

It should be noted that Prosperous Armenia members Aram Safaryan and Nayra Zohrabyan earlier had stated that they’re not claiming the National Assembly Vice Chair position.
