“I’ve become very familiar with the Armenian National Congress’ 100 Steps program, it’s very interesting and welcoming,” said Chair of the RA National Assembly Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Vardan Ayvazyan, while speaking to journalists today and responding to a question by Epress.am.
The 100 Steps program proposed by the opposition group is a systematic reform of socioeconomic policies available in more detail on the group’s website.
“I can clearly say that certain clauses included in that program are being implemented. I, as Vardan Ayvazyan and economic committee chair, have reviewed it and I say, along with certain clauses in the government’s program of activities, so to say, one coincides with the other,” said the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) MP.
However, Ayvazyan considered certain clauses in the 100 Steps program to be “utopian.”
“Nevertheless, I would be very welcome if our dear friends, who put forth the 100 Steps program, familiarized themselves first with the government’s activities program, then present a new program connected with that,” he said.
