The allegations that David Beckham cheated on wife Victoria with a $10k a-night prostitute have been rubbished by pals, claiming that the footballer has been ‘set-up’, reports MTV.co.uk.
As reported previously, US publication InTouch Weekly claimed that David had been unfaithful to Victoria Beckham with high-class hooker Irma Nici, who alleged she had unprotected sex and a threesome with Becks back in 2007.
A statement released by his spokesperson read: “The allegations that have been made are completely untrue and totally ridiculous as the magazine was clearly told before publication.”
The couple’s spokesperson added: “Sadly we live in a world where a magazine can print lies and believe they can get away with it.
“We are taking legal action against the magazine.”
