Friday was Day Four of the 39th FIDE World Chess Olympiad in the city of Khanty-Mansiysk in Western Siberia (Russia). After Round 4, perhaps 7 teams haven’t tasted the bitterness of loss: Armenia, Russia’s 1st and 2nd teams, Vietnam, Georgia, Hungary and the Netherlands.
Today, the Armenian team will play against Russia’s 2nd team. Russia’s 1st team will play off with Hungary, while Georgia will play against Vietnam and the Netherlands against Poland.
The Armenian women’s team, which, with 6 points, is currently 12th place in the standings, will play against Greece today.
