“In the beginning, they [i.e the Armenian National Congress] were demanding [Armenian President] Serzh Sargsyan’s resignation and that’s all. Now they have understood that nothing will change only from that, complete changes are necessary, which we were saying from the beginning,” said Armenian Revolutionary Federation–Dashnaktsutyun (ARF-D) representative Vahan Hovhannisyan, while speaking to journalists today and saying that the Armenian National Congress (HAK) is using ARF-D’s terminology.
“It’s true, they want to get [there] through other means [different than ours],” said Hovhannisyan, adding that anyone can become familiar with ARF-D’s means by reading the party’s statute.
The ARF-D member noted that when “you look at the ruling authorities’ and Armenian National Congress’ ideological approaches, you see that there’s no difference between them.”
“The Armenian National Congress says, ‘Allow us to come to power’; however, it’s obvious that they’ll do the same thing,” said Hovhannisyan.
