The Armenian National Congress (HAK) political council meeting, chaired by HAK leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan, took place today. HAK coordinator Levon Zurabyan informed journalists of some of the issues discussed at the meeting.
“The first issue that was discussed is the message that HAK is sending to the Council of Europe (CoE), which we will deliver to the CoE representation during our Oct. 1 march. The message is going to be directed at CoE Secretary General Thorbjørn Jagland and it will be signed by Levon Ter-Petrosyan on HAK’s behalf,” said Zurabyan.
The HAK coordinator noted that the contents of the letter were discussed today and finally approved by the HAK secretary.
Continuing, Zurabyan said, by sending the message, HAK is re-establishing its demands and wants to remind the CoE and its different bodies of their obligations.
The second half of the council meeting referred to HAK’s new tactics.
Zurabyan also stated that certain issues tied to regional policy were discussed.
