In principle, there are foreign language schools in all countries. By establishing them, we’re not reinventing the wheel, said head of the State Language Inspectorate Sergo Yeritsyan while meeting with journalists today.
Asked whether instead of opening foreign language schools, wouldn’t it be more appropriate to raise the education level, by improving English language education, for instance, Yeritsyan stated that “regretfully” he can’t do that.
“It is with regret that I state that in the coming years, we cannot significantly raise the level of education [in Armenia],” said Yeritsyan.
