Bicycle+ NGO will be organizing a bike tour in honor of EuroBirdWatch 2010, which will be marked in Armenia from Oct. 2–3.
The bike tour will begin at 11 am on Oct. 3 from the park across the street from the Yerevan State Conservatory named after Komitas, where cyclists will take off for Lake Yerevan (hats and T-shirts with the EuroBirdWatch 2010 logo will be provided).
The route: Sayat Nova – Abovyan – Republic Square – Vazken Sargsyan – Yerevan City Hall – Dzovakal Isakov – Lake Yerevan (near the US Embassy).
Millions of migrating birds will leave Europe in these weeks flying to their wintering places in Africa. BirdLife International invites people in Europe to take the opportunity on 2 and 3th October 2010 to discover the power and beauty of birds in the wild and also near human habitations.
The European Birdwatch is an annual event comprising hundreds of nationally organized activities.
