Armenian musician and singer Lilit Pipoyan is sure that she can fill concert halls if, prior to her concert, necessary (presumably, PR) work is carried out. Pipoyan said this today during a press conference and noted that now, “in this situation, I wouldn’t fill halls, but there is the potential.”
“We live in such a time when people should be informed about cultural events. Or the artist herself must be active and announce herself,” she said.
Pipoyan also placed importance on producers’ work.
“Of course, all issues can be resolved. But it’s all based on finances,” she said.
According to rock group Empyray guitarist Karen Arzoumanyan, there’s no reason to worry.
Speaking about concerts that usually take place in the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex, he said, what is requested is what is provided.
Arzoumanyan urged people not to tell singers that they sing what is requested; however, he added, “But they more so sing that which is requested.” According to the guitarist and composer, Empyray will attempt to hold a concert at the Karen Demirchyan Complex soon.
To Popoyan’s statement that the public is like a child, he will like whatever you serve him, Arzoumanyan said, “The child can decline. Those 1,000 individuals who come to our concerts are more for us than the other 7,000.”
What we’re talking about, said the rock musician, is quality.
