At a daily press briefing, US Assistant State Secretary Philip J. Crowley said that the US is committed to resolving the issues one year after the signing of the Armenia-Turkey Protocols.
The question posed to him was whether the US was still involved in the process of normalizing Armenia-Turkey relations and still working with the sides, “not just the Armenian and Turkish side but also with the Azerbaijani counterparts.”
“We remain committed to resolving these issues. It was something that Secretary Clinton discussed last month at the UN with a wide range of leaders, and we remain committed to it,” he said.
