The RA Administrative Court has sent back the case of 116 Yerevan residents vs. Yerevan City Hall, in which the residents requested the court to invalidate the permit for construction work in Yerevan’s Student Park.
According to the residents, the permits to carry out the construction work were provided in violation of their right to participate in urban development programs and projects for consideration and in approving decisions. Furthermore, the destruction of the park violates their right to live in a healthy environment and their right to rest.
The RA Administrative Court sent the case back, reasoning that the rights of the claimants weren’t violated. According to the Facebook group “We are this city’s owner,” the claimants will appeal the decision.
