Restricted Road Access to Tatev Monastery Beginning Oct. 15

As a result of the opening ceremony of the Tatev aerial tramway on Oct. 16, from 5 pm on Oct. 15 to late evening on Oct. 16, the main Yerevan-Goris highway leading to Tatev Monastery will be restricted in order not to cause further inconvenience in road traffic.

According to Tatev.am, the aerial tramway, spanning 5.7 kilometers across the Vorotan River Gorge is expected to be the longest passenger aerial tramway in the world.

The Tatev aerial tramway will be open to the public beginning Oct. 23.
