At 6 pm today, the Armenian National Congress (HAK) will be holding a rally in front of the Matenadaran (Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts). The opposition group has secured a permit from Yerevan City Hall for today’s rally.
As stated earlier by HAK, on the agenda today are speeches on “the political and economic consequences of corruption reaching catastrophic proportions in Armenia, the mechanisms of corruption and recent blatant deals, as well as the ways to recover democracy in Armenia.”
First president of the Republic of Armenia (and HAK leader) Levon Ter-Petrossian will make a speech at the rally.
After the rally, organizers plan on having a march.
