The foreign politician most favorably tuned in to Georgia is US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, according to a survey conducted by Georgian paper Kviris Palitra (“palette”). The percentage of survey participants who voted for Clinton in the survey was 8.15%.
Second place went to Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev (6.72%); third to NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen (6.32%).
Following the top three was French President Nicolas Sarkozy, US President Barack Obama, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, and Ukraine President Viktor Yanukovych.
Republic of Armenia President Serzh Sargsyan, in ninth place, gathered 1.89% of the votes of the foreign politician most amiable toward Georgia.
The survey polled 477 people.
