Ter-Petrossian Met with PACE Monitoring Committee Co-Rapporteur

First president of the Republic of Armenia and leader of the opposition group the Armenian National Congress (HAK), Levon Ter-Petrossian met with PACE Monitoring Committee co-rapporteur John Prescott today. 

During the meeting, issues connected to the requirements outlined in PACE resolution 1677 not being carried out were discussed, according to a HAK press release. Particular attention was paid to the release of political prisoners; uncovering the deaths of March 1, 2008; as well as issues related to the European Court ruling on A1+ TV station.

Participating in the discussion were also HAK representatives Levon Zurabyan and Avetis Avagyan.
