Armenian football midfielder currently playing for Ukrainian Premier League club Shakhtar Donetsk, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, 21, who, didn’t play in the match with Vorskla because of a cold, also won’t be playing in the Oct. 27 Ukrainian Cup match with Poltava, reports the Russian-language sports news site Sport-Express.
As told by Shakhtar doctor Arthur Glushchenko, the football player most likely will begin training Wednesday or Thursday. According to the doctor, it’s hard to predict whether Mkhitaryan will play in the next match, with Belarus’ Dnepr on Oct. 30; however, by Nov. 3, when Shakhtar will play off against London’s Arsenal, Mkhitaryan should be fully recovered.
