Canada’s Ambassador to Armenia Promises to Develop Bilateral Relations

Canada’s newly appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Armenia John Sloan (seat in Moscow) submitted his credentials to RA President Serzh Sargsyan today. 

Sargsyan and Sloan stressed the need to make use of all the potential of cooperation between Armenia and Canada in the areas of trade, culture and local sovereignty. Both parties also placed importance on the role of the Canadian-Armenian community in strengthening Armenia-Canada relations. 

Ambassador Sloan spoke favorably of effective Armenia-Canada cooperation in international bodies, particularly noting the UN and the OSCE. He also assured Sargsyan that he will everything possible during his term to further strengthen and develop Armenia-Canada relations in all sectors.
