More People Using Public Transport in Armenia in 2010

In the period Jan.–Sept. 2010, the volume of freight transport use as compared to the same period in 2009 increased by 7.1%, reports the RA National Statistical Service.

During the first 9 months of 2010, the volume of freight transport traffic overall as compared to the same period in 2009 increased by 15.7%.

Also for the same period, there was a 2.8% increase in the volume of passengers in 2010 as compared to 2009. 

Again, for the period Jan.–Sept. 2010, there was a 5.8% increase as compared to 2009 in overall use of passenger traffic in transport.
