National Gallery of Armenia Presents its Largest Exhibit This Year

On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of founder of Armenian Historical Painting Vardges Surenyants (1860-1921), the National Gallery of Armenia will be making available to the public over 200 of Surenyants’ paintings.

The exhibition will occupy one floor of the gallery and will include also works of the painter from the collections of the Armenian History Museum, Srdarapat Battle Museum & Echmiadzin Museum, according to the National Gallery Facebook event page. 

A catalogue of the collection will be published in Armenian and Russian. 

The exhibit will launch at 3 pm on Nov. 26, 2010, and runs through till 5:30 pm on Feb. 26, 2011. All are welcome to attend.
