Lusine Vayachyan’s ‘Who’s My Mother’ Wins Literary Competition

Local Armenian writer Lusine Vayachyan’s piece titled “Who’s My Mother” has been named the winner in a contest recently announced by Utopiana cultural-creative NGO as part of its “Mother-Daughter Triangle” project.

The organization has since decided to make the project and discussion more lively by opening up discussion and voting to the public. The literary works can be read on Utopiana’s website and on the organization’s Facebook page. Note that the pieces are only in Armenia.

According to contest organizers, “Feedback and comments of the readers will have an important impact on the final results of the contest.”

Awards will then be given out in Utopiana’s Yerevan office at Nov. 7 at 4 pm. Winners will read excerpts from their work, which will be followed by a discussion among participants, committee members and guests.
