Three matches from the next-to-last round of Armenia’s Premier League football championship took place today.
Prior to this round, second-place FC Banants was able to defeat FC Kilikia 1-0 and leap from FC Pyunik by two points. Pyunik will have its turn in tomorrow’s match with FC Gandzasar in Yerevan. If they win this match, Armenia’s champion for the past few years will leap from Banants.
It should be noted as well that from taking advantage of FC Mika’s defeat, FC Ulysses officially secured the third place in the championship.
Further, it also became clear which team will earn the last place spot in Armenia’s Premier League: Gyumri’s FC Shirak, who falls behind seventh-place FC Kilikia by 5 points.
