Italian Contemporary Cinema Week Kicks Off in Yerevan

The Italian Embassy in Armenia and the State Hamazgayin Theatre present the Week of the Italian Contemporary Cinema in Yerevan from Nov. 8–13, reads a release on the Italian Embassy website. 

The festival program includes films by major Italian contemporary directors such as Pupi Avati, Michele Placido, Fausto Brizzi, Angelo Longoni, Roberto Faenza and Giuliano Montaldo. 

Sara Nalbandyan, as expert in Performance Art Sciences, will present and analyze each screening. The opening of the week will be accompanied by the launch of the exhibition “Italian Frames” by well-known Armenian sculptor David Minasian.
