The reason is that farmers and those employed on farms are unable to use their equipment. According to entrepreneurs, the water has damaged the electrical system of the farm and accordingly, the equipment.
Earlier reports said the river banks flooded the streets of Milan, Venice and Verona. Several homes were washed away in the province of Tuscany. In some areas, schools have been closed. According to preliminary data, the damage caused by the flood is estimated to be 500 million euros.
